This restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants I have visited - not only in Galway - in Ireland. The staff are lovely, friendly and efficient and the home-made food is delicious. My personal favourites are Polpette in Umido (Meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce) for starter, followed by Spaghetti Carbonara. Put this together with a full bodied red wine and you're in culinary heaven. I haven't managed to get to desert yet as I'm always full at this point. They look great, maybe next time. Try out La Colina. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Fabulous Italian Restaurant La Collina is not the only Italian Restaurant in Salthill but it has the most authentic Italian food, great prices and the owner and staff and so lovely and welcoming so it is a lovely relaxing evening, I always eat here when in Galway a few times a year and La Collina never disappoints - I would highly recommend it and also that you book in advance or you will be disappointed, especially if a weekend night. Great food, great wine, lovely relaxing atmosphere and above all fabulous service from Corina and her staff...

I can't praise enough this authentic Italian restaurant. Not only pasta but mouth watering chicken, steaks and pizzas are absolutely delicious ! On top of that the friendliest stuff I ever met.
